Out of County Enrollment (House Bill 7029)

Application period for the 2023-24 School year:  July 17 through July 28, 2023.

The School District of Lee County shall allow a parent from any other school district in the state of Florida, whose child is not subject to a current expulsion or suspension, to enroll and transport his or her child into any PUBLIC school that has not reached capacity.

Elementary Schools

  • There are no available elementary schools that can be offered as out-of-county choice for the 2023-2024 school year.

Middle Schools

  • There are no available middle schools that can be offered as out-of-county choice for the 2023-2024 school year.

High Schools

  • There are no available high schools that can be offered as out-of-county choice for the 2023-2024 school year.

Out-of-county school placement to your school of choice is not guaranteed. Placement in an out-of-county school is based upon seat availability of a particular grade level and if the school can meet the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) needs of your student. Parents must provide transportation to and from the school. Please see the District's Plan for Student Enrollment for additional information about out-of-county student open enrollment.
